  Exceptional all round - from the website to enquiry phone call to SMS'd instructions on where to meet, through to the easy instruction and massively fun surf session. I highly recommend learning with Salty Surf School - we can't wait to be back again very very soon!

  I remember my first lesson 8 months ago like it was yesterday, had no idea about the majestic beauty of the ocean, I had no idea there was such thing as waking up at dawn to check the surf, I just wanted to stand up on a surf board and I thought that was all it was about....
  
  Fraser not only teaches you about surfing, how to catch waves and stand up, he captivates you with his passion for surfing and shows why and how to respect the ocean, how to share it with others and how to smile and enjoy every minute you spend in it wether your putting in turns or wiping out.
  
  After a few lessons I noticed that it doesn't matter if your a grommit, a good surfer trying to refine your skills or like me an adult trying to discover surfing for the first time, Fraser has this amazing ability to see what is holding you back wether it's mental or physical and then he tailors his approach to each individual and to get the best of them.
  
  So 8 months on and several lessons later I find myself with great respect for Fraser's ability to teach surfing and share his love for the ocean. I have caught the addiction for the 'Salty Life' of paddling into the line up, talking to strangers like they are family and loving every wave I catch, miss, wipeout on or manage to put in a turn or two.
  
  I am not sure if it's the adrenaline of catching the wave or the peace or sitting on the board staring into the horizon, no traffic, no concrete jungle, just waiting for the next set to roll through that makes surfing so addictive. What I know is without Fraser's guidance (relax, don't rush, watch the wave, there is two gear of paddling, keep your head up, look where you want to go and most of all SMILE and enjoy the zen of wave riding) I would not be surfing at the level I am today, if surfing at all. THANKS FRASER!!!!!!!
